Northlake, Illinois Speed Traps

There are east and west Whitehall Avenues. Wolf Road is the dividing line. West is industial and East is residential. The intersection is not marked as such. Trucks turning east looking for factories find only houses and if caught pay very large fines for their "offense". I have asked the City to mark the intersection and have been ignored.

Northwest Avenue between Rt. 64 (North Avenue) and Grand Avenue. Southbound, usually 1/4 mile south of Grand. Northbound, same spot as southbound, plus at the intersection with Grand Avenue watching for speeders and ‘No turn on red’ violations. Posted limit 30 mph.

Between North Ave and Grand Ave. Enforcement is heaviest close to North Ave, near the library. The speed limit is 30mph on a 4 lane road. At least 2-3 times a week I see someone being pulled over. I travel early morining (6am).

This runs from Wolf rd to Rt 45 Manhiem Rd speed is 30 but 2 blocks by the park are set at 25 mph this is will they will get you most of the time

Heading East on North Ave. Just after the the Manheim Rd. overhead, They sit in the car wash parking lot and get you just as you come out of the low spot. You don’t see them till it’s too late.
