Pekin, Illinois Speed Traps

There is road construction going on there, though the reduced speed limit is not posted. As you turn onto Broadway, going East, the reduced speed limit is not posted. A short distance down Broadway is where the officers sit… sometimes 2 cars at a time.

Pekin Police like to do running radar on the new stretch of Veterans Drive between Court St. (State Rt 9) and Broadway Road. They make loops driving up and down this stretch of road. Posted speed limit is 45mph.

Everyday, someone is getting pulled over by our business. Same Cop ususally also. Watch your speed going up or down Broadway between Parkway & 14th St. They’re watching for any speed. County Cops also.
