Vernon Hills, Illinois Speed Traps

If you are going south bound after Rt 60 look out before you get by the American Hotel regiestery building. They are hidding behind there sign. 6 enfourcement cars stacked up while on car hits you with radar. 🙂

Police officer sits at the Old Half Day Inn parking lot across from Flatlanders waiting for cars to come down the hill toward the Inn. Should have known better. Lincolnshire and Vernon Hills are major speed traps.

GREGG’S LANDING -Do not speed when you decide to cut through. Located off of Milwaulkee in Libertyville…Lakeview PKWY in Vernon Hills and Butterfield/Allonson in Mundelein.
Those of you who live in Mundelein, Libertyville, and vernon Hills will know where this is.

On Deerpath at intersection of Sullivan. They sit in Forest Preserve Walking Path. Impossible to see unless eastbound on Sullivan. Even if you are E/B on Sullivan, unlikely you’ll see them in time.

A VHPD officer sits at Ernie’s/Shell monitoring southbound and northbound traffic behind some bushes. Lincolnshire PD also likes to get in on the action.
