Decatur, Indiana Speed Traps
U.S. Route 27 in rural Adams County near Decatur
Route 27 is the principal north-south corridor in Adams County, linking the city of Fort Wayne to Decatur and Berne. There are numerous speed limit changes, many of which are manned by deputies running radar. All tickets cost $169, plus a $10 “service charge” for using a credit card to pay online. I commute daily along this route and always use a radar detector. There are multiple traps daily.
