Interstate 80-90 near US Highway 80-90 Broadway onramp
Three miles east on 80-90 toll road off the Gary Indiana Broadway onramp; traveling east, road widening construction is being done a giant left-hand curve with walls hides at least three Indiana state patrol cars, two the new charger models. speed limit is 55mph down to 45mph. normal speed is 70 mph. I travel this highway 5 days a week twice daily and have been pulled over here. Beware. big money maker for the state!
Burr Street near Ridge Road
This speed trap is between Burr Street and 29 avenue. Two patrol cars drive in circles up and down the street. They sometimes park on the other side of the calumet river bridge and soon as you cross over they get you.
This a 4 lane street and the speed limit is 30 miles per hour in a residential industrial area.
As big as it is you think your on the highway be very careful.
35 th Avenue
From Grant Street to Chase Street on 35th Avenue, there’s this cop who hides behind either the Village Shopping Center or GW Berkheimer Co. and waits with a radar gun, enforcing the 30 MPH Speed limit. He has even followed people into the parking lot where I work.
US Highway 12 near Going by Gary Airport
Industrial Boulevard by the Gary Airport was 45, is now 40 mph. Traffic tends to travel down it at 55. A large goldish Ford vehicle will be standing by during the beginning of the month and pulling people over. Once saw three different cars pulled over during one hour’s stretch.
