Valparaiso, Indiana Speed Traps

they sit in the church lot on the north side of road waiting to get a westbound car. by the time you see them your caught. also just west of there is a 20mph zone for the park. don’t know where they sit because i turn before the park but do see a lot of cars pulled over there.

Valparaiso/Chesterton. Please watch speed near RT 49 there are cops here everyday, do not let them catch you. 24 hours a day, there are cops sitting under the 49 overpass that are difficult to see b/c they are in the median just under the bridge at the crest of the hill. Once you see the 1 mile sign, slow down. More often there are multiple bogeys. I drive with a V1 and they do not gun until it is too late!!

Going west on 30, maybe a mile and a half before the junction where 2 and 30 meet, they love to hide in the grass behind the overpass train tracks because you cant see them. If you see eastbound card flashing their headlights at you near there you know why.

a 3 mile stretch of Indiana 49 from Toll road south to 550 North is heavily patrolled by both County and state police. Like to sit 1/4 mile North of highway 6 overpass and under same overpass.

The police hide behind the furniture store loading dock parking lot right before the round-about.
