Stanton, Kentucky Speed Traps

Near Exit 22 on the Mountain Parkway in Powell County, often times can be found Kentucky State Police, Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement or local law enforcement (Stanton city police) running radar. The speed limit is 70 mph but the route is lightly traveled so motorists have a tendency to drive faster. They cops take advantage of that. You can often find them along one of the entrance ramps at that exit, at the ends of the bridge, or in one of the U-turns located near either end of the bridge.
