Bridge City / Avondale State Trappers usually sit on either the EB or WB side of of River Rd, usually when it’s dark, between the traffic signal and Avondale Shipyard

State Trappers set up traps off the westbound lane about 100 yards from the Lapalco intersection. Usually 2 to 4 Trappers writing tickets. They hide between the trees and catch you as you come around the bend. The speed limit is 40 and the highway is a safe 55mph style road.
