There are Jefferson Parish police and sometimes State troopers that hide behind the sign and the tree right at the Marrero and Westwego line.
Ames Boulevard near Seivers Drive
Traffic police will park on the corner of Seivers Drive and Ames Blvd (or some were near that vicinity)with their radar and hand out tickets. You see Ames is a four lane Blvd. but,the speed limit is only 35 MPH.

3rd Street near State Highway 90
At least once a month Jefferson Parish cops will sit one block off of the expressway to catch the parents dropping their kids off at St. Rosalie. 3rd street is the best route to shoot up and loop around to head downtown. They will hide to the side with their motorcycles out of view and just have the radar/laser gun. Be careful if you are dropping your kid off and coming up 3rd.
State Highway 90 near Farrington Drive
Usually patrolled by State Troopers. Often, they will park their vehicle under the elevated expressway (Hwy 90 AKA Westbank Expressway) and will enforce speeds coming down the ground level expressway on foot w/hand held radar. They will patrol both east and west bound lanes.
