Plaquemine, Louisiana Speed Traps
Iberville Parish
Iberville Parish has two motorcycle cops. They hide very well from people and before you know it they step out in the road and pull you over. I see them all over. They use some type of laser gun that they point directly at you. They also patrol through parking lots writing tickets for handicap and fire zone parking. If you see a motorcycle on the side of the road, slow down. It is “Chips”. Lol. They got me but I knew one of them and he let me go with a warning.
Interstate I-10
Policeman hides his car behind overpass and stands on side of road and randomly shoots radar, I have a radar detector and did not pick up his signal at all.
State Highway 23 near Mrytle Grove
Hwy 23 is marked 70 mph for miles, then turns to 55 mph in the middle of nowhere and signs are turned sideways due to Katrina winds!

Officer parks facing West at end of Basin bridge on I-10 just before the speed limit increase sign from 60mph on the bridge to 70mph on I-10 and tickets East-bound traffic.

The police officers sit at the corner of LA 1 North and Fort Street across from Plaquemine Bank. This is the highway going towards Baton Rouge, not White Castle. The speed limit is 30 mph.
