State Highway Hwy.415 near Interstate I-10
When traveling Hwy 415 and exiting onto I-10 to cross the new bridge there are usually six to eight cops checking for speed, inspection sticker, window tint, etc. Also exiting I-10 to 415 one can be found in the median checking speed coming off the exit ramp.
State Highway LA-1 near Interstate I-10
When traveling LA-1 when you cross the intracoastal canal there is always a cop sitting at the Baton Rouge exit montioring speed and watching if you cross the solid white line on the intracoastal overpass.
State Highway 415 near US Highway US 190
When traveling on Hwy.415 to exit on US 190 there is a sharp curve under an overpass. You can’t see around the curve until its too late. There can be up to ten cop cars there checking everything from speed, window tint, inspection stickers, etc.
US Highway 1 near I-10 loop
On Highway 1 leaving port allen heading towards brusly, the state police are sitting under I-10 (right before the intercoastal canal). They are there every saturday morning writing people up for speeding, seat belts, broken lights, inspection stickers, etc.
US Highway 190 near Old Mississippi River Bridge
A West Baton Rouge Sheriff deputy on a motorcycle unit sits at the bottom of the old Mississippi River Bridge on the West Baton Rouge side. The speed limit is 50mph and you can’t see him until it’s too late.
