Police park on the shoulder in small white marked police unit with low profile lights on top. Officer stands by drivers door with Laser and aims it at oncoming traffic.

Deputy Sheriff parks on side of interstate with trunk open so drivers cant see blue light bar. Officer uses Laser Radar gun. Have noticed them on East And West bound lanes.

Beginning in January the Town of Welsh will be using electronic speed detectors to clock violators and mail the traffic citation to them. Traffic stops will not be made, you will not know you violated the speed law until you receive the citation in the mail.

Maroon police pickup with white markings on tailgate works from right side ditch near or under overpass. Very hard to ID – no light bar. Prefers to work in daylight when sun is in driver’s eyes. Ignores multiple vehicles – goes for clear shot on singles at range of about 200 yards with rear radar.

IH 10 Either E or W direction by overpass. Local Welsh police in Maroon Pick up Truck. No lights on Roof.
