Abingdon, Maryland Speed Traps
Highway 40 and Long Bar Harbor Road near Belcamp area
the Maryland state police park on highway 40 facing westbound lanes using radar. On my way toward the 7 eleven the police cruiser is backed in on a dirt drive way. You will not see him until it is too late. I think the speed limit is 55 in the area. I was just driving by and seen this on my way. Today is November 13, 2015, Always remember that highway 40 uses speedtraps in Belcamp, Abington, and Aberdeen. This is Harford county. Slow Down. Don’t lose money around here.

Singer Road near Halfway from Mountain Road
The state trooper lives right near here and works it about twice a month. I’ve gotton caught on Sunday morning. I’ve seen him there on a Tuesday night around 5. It’s a big money maker since there are big hills in either direction and you have to BRAKE in order to do the 30 mph speed limit.
State Route 40 near Long Bar Harbor Road
A new resturant has opened on Rt 40 across from the 7-Eleven at Long Bar Harbor Road, police like to sit in their parking lot against the trees and set radar for drivers coming from Rt 543, Aberdeen to Edgewood, it is a nice stretch of road and if the sun is shining in your eyes it will be hard to see them sitting in the shady area of the parking lot.
