This is major artery that provides access to Washington, DC and the Capitol Beltway. Elsewhere, the speed limit is at least 35 mph. Here, it drops to 30 mph (enforced with speed cameras). Beware.
East-West Highway at Donnybrook Dr.
Marked and unmarked (dark Chevy SUV) police cars can be seen quite regularly hidden behind trees on Donnybrook Drive where East West highway makes a curve. It is also downhill, so the speed can inadvertently increase.
Chevy Chase Cops next to Chevy Chase Country Club
Cops always sit waiting next to the post office, the country club or a few streets before going into D.C. They are watching every night so watch out going down Conn. Ave in Chevy Chase. They are not very Friendly.
