Crofton, Maryland Speed Traps

Officers sit in entrance of Chaney’s Grant and are blocked from view by the community sign. Usually looking at South bound lanes but I think they can get northbound too. Speed limit drops from 45 to 35 1 block before gong south and is only 35 from 450 through the school zone to Crofton park going north. Summer driving season is here so I’d expect to see them more often.

Occasional Police car in the woods off of Riedel Rd near Johns Hopkins. If you’re not looking you will totally miss him. Only seen at night or evening hours.

Police likes to park around the La Petite Academy near Nantucket Rd on Johns Hopkins.

Crofton PD car in the parking lot adjacent to the Sly Horse Tavern. From this vantage point he runs radar on the parkway in both directions and watchs for persons running the stop sign at Clubhouse Dr and the Pkwy. I see him 3 out of 5 nights between 5 and 6 pm.

One unmarked car of the local Police department sits and waits in different spots in this 25 mph zone.
