Eldersburg, Maryland Speed Traps
Route 26, At Berkley Drive, Near Johnsville Rd
An Officer sits in the parking lot of a doctors office, directly across from Berkley Drive, as you’re headed on Route 26 toward Baltimore the parking lot is directly after Johnsville Rd on the left. The Officer will typically sit there late at night with his lights off. I have never seen him there during the day.
Freedom Elementary School parking lot on Rt. 32
Either a trooper or sherriff’s dept. sit there frequently shooting radar.
Londontowne Blvd & Georgetown Blvd
At the sharp curve where Londontowne changes to Georgetown, State Police are always shooting radar from the end of the business park driveway. This must be one of the most productive speed traps in the area, as there are almost always troopers sitting there.
Klee Mill Road near Tyra Drive
Cop sits just inside of Tyra estates behind the development sign. Sometimes two cops present. They also sometimes sit on the other side of the road in the pine trees.
State Route 26 near West of Long Reservoir Bridge
Usually 2 State Police cars in driveway on South side of Liberty Road – one for each way of traffic.
