Elkton, Maryland Speed Traps

Radar is usually located on the shoulder of the highway in a 30MPH zone on Rt 213 and can be just north of or, just south of, the Rt 279 intersection. The southbound approach to the intersection is a downgrade which makes it easy to exceed the limit. This trap is conducted by the Elkton Police Dept.

Half way between North East and Elkton, Top of the big hills. Can be on either side. Like to be on North East side late nights

They have a hidden radar (I think on the over-bridge, and radio’s to the guy further down) before you enter the curve, and catch you when you come out of the curve. I got a $80 ticket for doing 40 on a 30 mph limit.

Cops hide underneath the bridge catching people coming off of it, moving toward 279
