Essex, Maryland Speed Traps

Speed camera on the school side beyond the crosswalk in front of the elementary school. It shoots one way when you are going towards Eastern Ave. It is in operation from 6a-8p Monday through Friday that school is in session, including summer school.

They useually sit either in Kenwood High School Driveway or on Theresa Ave Right Before the high school.

Two or three cars sit in the shopping center just west of 702 on Eastern Avenue. They are out of sight for those cars taking the exit off of 702 because of the trees, or coming westbound on Eastern Blvd because of the bridge. Evening rush hour is the most frequent time that they set up.

They like to sit right under the bridge over pass right before the exit for eastern blvb off of 702. You can’t see them until you are right up on them, when its to late

Baltimore County Police just sitting under the trees and watching as the oncoming traffic comes up on him.
