Hollywood, Maryland Speed Traps

State or unmarked crusiers at the S. Sandgates & NorthBound Route 235 crossing. Radar picks you up as you come over slight hill into view from about 1/2 mile away.

Both State and County have been known to sit at the corner of 235 and St. John’s Rd. in front of St. John’s Pharmacy and catch Northbound lead-feet. They will pursue vehicles that do not pull over when flagged.

2-3 marked cars with officers pointing radar/laser towards 235 south-bound traffic. There is a hill prior to seeing the police, by then it’s too late. They are often at the Hollywood Rescue Squad at the end/beginning of the month about 3-4 pm.

Across from st johns road where the pharmacy is, state cops sit there all the time, especially on weekends.
