Howard, Maryland Speed Traps

Going eastbound on Rt. 32 they will be waiting for you at the bottom of the hill just past the Rt. 108 exit. Usually they work in teams of 3-4 cars. Speed limit is 55 but should be atleast 65.

Police will sit in median under the foot bridge across Rt. 29 south bound. Usually 2 to 3 cruisers with trunk lids up for camoflage will shoot you as you crest the hill a 1/4 mile or so before their spot. watch for brake lights as you pass Rt. 175 and slow before cresting the hill and you’ll be fine.

Rt.100 is is highly patrolled and monitored with many speed traps at many times of the day from early AM to late PM – especially between US 29 and I-95. Watch particularly for parked cruisers w/trunks open under overpasses or around curves.
