Jessup, Maryland Speed Traps

As you approach Rt. 175, I-95 dips into a valley to go under the Rt. 175 bridge. The trap is on your left in the media strip just beyond the bridge. It is hard to see the trap as you approach, but as soon as you dip down under the bridge you will see the cars, etc. on the left side. At that point, you have already been registered; turn on your left blinker.

Southbound, as you approach the ‘NSA EMPLOYEES ONLY’ exit, a State Police car parks under the bridge which carries the NSA ramp across the parkway and into NSA parking lot. Nothing fancy here, you can see the Police car if you are paying attention, but it is not a spot you would expect a police car to be. He does a good business.

police will sit in one of four places , the garage,chinese resturant, post office, or a parking lot next to a railroad bridge.the reason why they sit here is because there are 2 major 3 way intersections here and they look for speeders as well as people running stop signs
