Millersville, Maryland Speed Traps

Police routinely set up speed traps on East-West Blvd., particularly near the intersection of Governor Stone Pkwy and East-West.

This trap is located on the corner, where Old Mill turns into Oakwood. If coming from Old Mill Rd, the trap is located as one would make the sharp left turn onto Oakwood Rd. The trap will usaully be two police cars, somewhat hidden on the right hand shoulder (corner).

Heading Eastbound on Old Mill Road, one or two county officers hide out in a natural overhang under the tree line on the right side of the curve past the 7 Eleven. They point into oncoming traffic.

When exiting 97 north onto Veterans there is that dip- that is so fun to race down and up- which was never really watched as far as we knew until one night my friend raced passed a cop going the opposite direction and the cop turned around and stopped him at the top of the hill (near the gas station) going something like 97 in a 55 and various other infractions for around a total of 500$. So for as fun as it is racing that hill be wary as the county police station is less than 3 miles away on that road.
