Maryland State Troopers sit watching both directions at the double turn-out (near mile post 38) on the Washington/Frederick County line. Turn-outs are obscured by a burm on both sides and you won’t see them until you pass them.

Setting on off ramps of Rt 70 west, Exiting to Rt. 17 Myersville,Middletown And sitting on Rt 17 before on ramp to Rt 70 East. Watching Rt 17 and all the traffic.
US Highway Route 40 near Easterday Road
They have police patrol, either marked or unmarked, doing that "Rolling Radar". He rolls up and down the road primarily catching you coming off one of the steep hills. It’s usually too late by the time you see him. Posted speed is 50, average speed of most drivers 65.
State Route 17 North near Rt 40 to Wolfsville
Trap is secluded along tree lined road and church prkg lots
US Highway 40 near State/County Road Dept Dome
Radar from County police and State Police (mostly State), catch people as they come down the steep incline towards Myersville on Route 40. This is very bad towards the end of each month.
