local police sit at the entrance to the school bus lot. this is a 30mph zone. why not 40mph. tuckerman lane it 45 from old georetown to rvp. no housing on westlake , but housing on tuckerman.

Between Tuckerman Lane and Edson Road (heading towards Rockville Pike). Police sit in Woodward School parking lot to snag speeders coming off the beltway etc. Also, the light at Edson Lane has a camera operated redlight device. Beware it will will photograph your license plate even if you are in the middle of the intersection when the light turns yellow.
