Thurmont, Maryland Speed Traps

At any given time of day troopers will sit at the entrance road to the Catoctin View 7th Day Adventist Church accross from Lohr Rd. with radar. It can be difficult to see them until you are almost at the location. Keep your speed down because it is difficult to cross from Lohr Rd. onto North Rt. 15 when alot of traffic is going way too fast.

Park Ranger sits in parking lot close to the national park entrance. The parking lot is hidden by trees, so by the time you’re there it’s too late.
