Waldorf, Maryland Speed Traps
Mattawoman Beantown Road near Leonardtown Road
Weekends are very frequent
Middletown Road near Billingsley Road
After passing Billingsley rd and before the railroad tracks on the way to rt. 227 county usually hides on a gravel private drive. They walk out in the middle of the road to stop you and their cars or motorcycle is hidden well.
State Highway 228 near The Crab Boat
Troopers and CC Sherrifs alike will sit in the parking lot or in the grass across the street. Especially as people are headed down the hill headed west, they will grab you no problem.
Piney Church Road near St. Pauls Drive
I spotted a county officer sitting in the parking lot of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. It appears to be a speed trap, as the officer’s car is sitting back enough that it isn’t seen at first. I’m guess this is in relation to the construction on Billingsley Road and the new adjoining neighborhood.
Accokeek Road near Danville Road
At or near this intersection and sometimes closer to the Aggregate Company entrance just before McKendree Rd, there is sometimes a speed trap with a marked sherriff or unmarked police using radar and laser. Haven’t seen them lately, but they pop up when at quota time.
