Lee/Clyde Street-bet. Rte. 9 (Reservoir) and Newton Street
If you’re coming down Lee Street from Rte. 9 toward the Apple Orchard and Putterham Square area, this is a 4 lane road dotted w/some homes, which I know this is why the speed limit is 35, and it’s so tempting to go 50 w/o even blinking an eye–completely flat and straight road w/no lights until the end when you hit Newton Street. Cops are so so often on a big open side street (on the right) just waiting. I’ve seen them at rush hour when I’m trying to not be late dropping my pre-schooler off at school, as well as on weekend errands, so it’s pretty random, but your best bet is to expect them to be there and never go more than 40. I smile every time I drive by a cop on that road like, "I was expecting you and you’ll never pull my a** over!"
