Shearer St. near the Nursing Home
Coming onto Shearer St. from Thorndike St. you can be going pretty fast but you better slow down right away because starting before Faith Baptist Church the speed limit is about 30 mph and the cops love to hide out in that section.
There are lots of little spots for them to hide. The speed limit stays around 30 past the nursing home and up to the top of the hill.
S Main Street
Coming in from Monson on Rte 32 the speed limit is 30 on this long, straight street. Watch out!
Main Street
Cops always run radar on Main Street in the Three Rivers section of town.
Thorndike Street near Park Street
If you come off Rt. 90 (Mass Pike) and go right at the end of the ramp toward downtown Palmer, you are in the zone. The speed limir going up the hill is 40mph, but going down the hill it is 25mph (hard to maintain). Police sit at the bottom of the hill in front of the church watching the cars come down thr hill or in the Cemetery entrance looking at the cars going up the hill
