State Highway Route 3 near Just before Jordan Road overpass on southbound side — or after it on the Northbound side
Usually state police sit in the clearing of the median strip just before the Jordan Road overpass (between exits 4 and 3) on the southbound side, or after overpass on the northbound side. Sometimes there are 2 troopers there and they cover both directions and it is hard/impossible to signal oncoming traffic of their presence. They like hiding in the median clearing across from the old county prison farm (currently the new courthouse) by exits 4/5.
