Sturbridge, Massachusetts Speed Traps

2 staties @ rest area pulling cars over and slowing cars down that are doing speed limit.

Four lane divided hwy just East of Rt 84.Speed limit on divided section is 45mph but changes to 50mph where division is dropped and road narrows.

This is a winding, hilly road running through a high income residentual area. Police set in numerous locations, especially at the crest of the hill going from Rt. 131 toward Rt 20. The speed limit is 25mph and very difficult to maintain both assending and desending the hill. I have often seen police sitting at the bottom of Fisk Hill Road shooting both up the hill and both directions of Rt. 131. Sometimes they stick a machine on Fisk Hill measuring and informing you of your speed.

Several units are often parked on the RHS of the road after going under the tunnel by the pike entrace. They park just around the right hand bend.

They park all over the road at all times of day. The limit is 30 and they will pull you over for 40.
