Speed limit is 25 mph. Radar car sits on side street, often in the median of Stanley Blvd. Be careful not to drive in one of Lincoln’s curbside parking lanes! Ignore the tailgaters who try to push you into driving faster.
Oak Street East of Quarton School.
The radar car parks on a side street. The speed limit is 25 mph. It is very easy to exceed this limit because east from the school the pavement is wide and much of the time there are no parked cars near the curb or pedestrians in the area. Also, the road has a downhill slope toward the River Rouge Bridge.
US Highway I-96
State Police patrol I-96 heavily, especially in the area of Iona. Watch out for state patrol cars here!
Maple Road near West of Cranbrook Road
For Westbound traffic, they sit on a side street, just past the top of a small hill.
For Eastbound traffic, they sit in the parking lot of the Cranbrook School.
Cranbrook Street near 14 Mile Road
Driving North from the stop sign at 14 Mile you crest a hill. The police sit in the drive of the Lincoln Hills Golf Course & pick off speeders as they crest the hill. Limit is 30, but you are still accelerating to go over the hill.Seaholm High School is just past where the police hide.
