State has requested several times that speed limit be raised to 55 however it remains 45and continues to be enforced. Police sit in driveways north of prison. Speed drops at bridge to 45. people tend to speed up to 55 north of prison however speed limit is 45 all the way to bridge. People going south do not slow down quick enough after crossing bridge.
