Bloomfield Hills, Michigan Speed Traps
Square Lake Road near Squirrel Road
The officer positions himself near the International Academy which has a 25 MPH limit at certain times of the school day. Also, there is no passing on the right going west on Square Lake as cars turn into the school, so you have to be careful of speeding as well as passing stopped cars on the shoulder. There is a no passing on shoulder sigh posted across from the school.
Cranbrook Road near Cranbrook Cross Road
Going south (towards Maple Rd.) the cop waits in the circular driveway at the corner of Cranbrook Rd. and Cranbrook Cross Rd., left side of the road. He’s hidden by trees and shrubs, but you shouldn’t be speeding in a sub near a school anyway (and I LOVE to speed). He’s there for both rush hours – Watchout!
Inkster Road near Lone Pine Road
A car will usually be parked on the west side of the road in the gravel by the lake. Very easy to speed here because if you’re going north you come down a hill and end up going 45 (35 zone). Extremely easy to spot, but watch out: sometimes they’ll use a Corvette so you can’t tell it’s a cop.
Telegraph Road near Long Lake Road
All traffic going south bound on telegraph are at risk. The office will usually position himself on a dirt road (W. Pemberton Road). He will watch for speeders and also illegal turns on the U turn.
Square Lake Road near Adams Road
Officer will park in entrance to one of the school farm buildings next to the I75 ramp.
