Conway, Michigan Speed Traps

They sit on the north side back up by the Railroad Car, usually facing east.

They will sit at the little park just north of the Inland House. They can point their radar north, across the end of the lake and catch the south bound traffic as they break through the trees and into the clearing. I have seen as many as three cars there at one time, both state and county together, because they will sit there with binoculars looking across at the boat launch watching for people partying on their boats to jump in their cars and leave.

They will sit at the east entrance to the Emmet County Road Commission garage just north of Powers Road/Hathaway Road and catch speeders going north and south on North Conway Road. They will also catch those who don’t make complete stops at North Conway Road coming from Hathaway Road to the west and Powers Road to the east.
