Warren near outer drive dearborn hgts mi
I was stopped at light, it turns green and I start going toward outer drive, a police car pulls me over claims I was going 45 miles, impossible, no way could that happend just taken off from a light. I’m 76 years old haven’t had a ticket in over 20 years. my wife and mother in-law were in the car at the time, they were both knew that was not possible. This young officer apparently didn’t like out of towners or received a ticket in florida, that is where I live. This young officer (very rude) said I’ll give you a ticket for 5 miles over the speed limit, not points at a cost of $85.00. I couldn’t argue the ticket in court because I was leaving for florida the next day. by the way I was on my way to the cemetary to pay respects to my deceased mother.
N. Gulley Rd. and Ford Rd.
The police officer sits at the Clinic next to the Citgo Gas Station. The officer looks for speeders, and also looks for people who run the yellow light on N. Gulley Rd. and Ford Rd.
Woodbine Entrance to Edward N Hines Dr.
After entering Edward N Hines Dr. from Woodbine going east, there is some tape and a single road barricade at the bridge. After going under the bridge and up a hill a police car parked in the toboggan run parking lot hit me with radar and informed me I was speeding in a construction zone even though no warning signs or “Reduced Speed” signs were in the area. I monitored the area for weeks and no warning signs were ever put up. I went to court three months later and the magistrate was very familiar with the situation. He threw the ticket out and told the officer at the hearing to put a sign in the area. No sign was ever put up.
