HP Cops sit on the ON-RAMP of Oakland onto W. Davison and catch ANYONE going over the posted 55mph and they are pulling so many over &send finding other stuff wrong that they have Tow-Trucks posted up on the near by bridges just waiting for the next call. They aren’t just pulling you over but they are SWOOPING in with 2the & MORE cars at a time. CRAZINESS on the Detroit City Limit!!!! Go get the REAL Criminals (Murderers, Armed Robbers, Shooters) I’m sure there are MANY other things they could be doing besides Speed Trap the day of the TIGERS 1st 2012 Post Season Playoff Game. Party Poopers SUCK!

I received a ticket on this stretch and when I went into contest the ticket because I was going under the speed I was in company of at least 100 other people. The officer came in and told us that the judge is not in… he will dissolve all the tickets as long as we all paid fines and if we wanted to see the judge we needed to reschedule our court date. This has to be the biggest scams. Last time I passed here I saw 3 cars stopped at the same time.

This stretch between Davison and Caniff has no stop lights, stop signs or pedestrians and a speed limit of 30mph. The sheriff’s department sits on the east side of the boulevard in one of the drive ways into the industrial park and waits for you. Do 35 and you’ve got a ticket.

Two entrance ramps – Oakland and Woodward. State troopers at ramp tops. Selective enforcement. HP bankrupt. Toops paid by state to enforce streets. Tickets double price of statute ($65 for 70 in a 55 marked-up to $112). Money-maker for city.
