Iron Mountain, Michigan Speed Traps

Heading West on US2 coming into Iron Mountain the speed limit is 35mph, there will be a sign stating 35mph, 3 blocks later there will be a sign of 25mph with no prior sign Reduce Speed Ahead. The Police will be setting right where the 25mph sign is and they will automatically have you 10mph over the speed limit.

They hide at the Citgo Gas station…be forewarned, the speed limit is still 25 UNTIL you cross the pit bridge then it’s 35 MPH

This is a unofficial bypass of downtown, with a 35 MPH Speed Limit. The police will sit hidden on the north of the road in the weeds, backed into a spot only visible from the east.
