I-275 South of 5 mile
On the median between North and Southbound there is often times a police car/van positioned in a "Authorised Vehicles Only" freeway turnaround. If you are headed northbound, it is right after the large Turnpike, if you are headed southbound, its right before you hit the turnpike to i-96 or m-15. Be warned.
Victor Parkway, between 7 and 8 Mile Roads
The speed limit for 4 lane Victor Parkway is 25 mph. This is a stretch that includes multi-story office buidlings, a hotel, and restaurants. The officer usually sits in one of the office building parking lots, out of the line of sight of drivers on the street. Similar speed limit and unrealistic enforcement for Pembroke between Newburgh and Victor Parkway, with more office buildings and a high-use post office.
Middlebelt Rd. Between I-96 and Plymouth
As you come out from below the railroad tracks underpass cops sit in Ford driveways. Usually targeting south bound traffic.
Haggerty Road between Plymouth and Hines Drive
Speed limit is 25 MPH (on a hill no less) and police officer will sit in business parking lot waiting for the unaware driver to approach from Plymouth Road or the Hines Park crossing.
