Mancelona, Michigan Speed Traps

Not exactly a speed trap, but be sure to come to a full stop! Rolling through the stop sign cost me $140. The cop was able to pull a u-ey to stop me – then explained that too many people barrel down U.S. Hwy. 131 southward and I could have been hit. Ha. He didn’t seem to have a problem with turning himself around. There is a long clear view of the any cars headed south, don’t let this fool you. I think I paid for their new “Welcome” sign.

Speed drops from 55 in Either Direction, to 35 through Town, Police useally sitting in NAPA parking lot, able to go both North or South
