Indian Trail North Of Marine City Hwy
Indian Trail between Marine City Hwy (26 Mile road) just before the North curve at the East China Township hall, you will see a lot of monitoring speeds. Going North of Marine City Highway on Indiana Trail is a small white church, Further north is a Park, further north just before the curve is the township hall. Three spots where the police love to monitor speeds in the dark.
On Degurse half way between King Rd and Belle River Rd.
The police park on a side street leading to a small condo project on the north side of Degurse. They are covered by some bushes.
Marine City (All Over)
Marine City can be a speed trap for Canadians coming over from Sombra on the ferry after clearing Customs. Canadians that are used to KM/H speed limits and may not drive in the U.S. much should watch their speedometers carefully.
State Route M-29 near Maple Street
The police officer(‘s) hide behind a boathouse on the east side of the highway, and are fairly well concealed. The speed limits drop from 50 mph to 45 mph, to 30 mph in the matter of 1.5 miles or less. Unless you are concetrating HEAVILY on your driving, they’ll get you every time!
King Road near West/Plank Road
School Zone…especially after 7:20 AM till 8ishAM. Also on Ward street in same vicinity of MCHS
