Milford, Michigan Speed Traps
The whole village of Milford
Big budget problems with the cops in Milford and they are trying to make up the budget deficit and "prove their worth" by writing gobs of tickets. Driving around Milford you see cars pulled over everywhere. I’ve lived in Milford for 35 years and have never noticed such a police "pressence" since the budget issues came to light in January of 2010.
Milford Rd
West side of Milford Rd. by old medical building. AM & PM, watching for teens driving to and from school plus rush hour travelers.
Commerce Road
Patrol car is sitting at the gated drive on the northside of the road, just west of the north end of the golf course. (located west of downtown, and east of Hickory Ridge Rd.) I have seen patrol cars there in a.m. and early evening. Limited visibilty of patrol car due to curved road.
Milford Road near GM Road
From I-96 heading northbound on Milford Road the speed limit is 50 MPH. As you get a mile or so from GM Road, the speed limit drops to 35mph and late at night the police patrol that stretch heavily. Once in Milford, the speed drops once more to 25 mph and remains 25 through the village limits. That is also a speed trap.
