New Hudson, Michigan Speed Traps
Grand River at Milford Rd and Pontiac Trail
Speed use to be an issue at this street corner municipality until round-abouts were built before and after the town on Grand River recently. There is small badly placed No Turn On Red sign for turning north onto Milford Rd from west bound Grand River at the New Hudson gas station. You’ll get nailed for an expensive ticket if you miss looking at the sign before reaching the intersection and turn right on red. New Hudson does not have its own police department and its usually Oakland County that patrols there. I-96 is in viewable distance of this intersection and State Police patrol this area too.
Milford Road near Grand River Avenue
1-mile South of Grand River on Milford Road the speed drops from 55mph to 35mph. You can ususally spot a patrol car off the side of the road near the rail road tracks monitoring speeds.
Milford Road
there is an oakland county sheriff that sits on milford road just passed the 6-way intersection facing towards south lyon on the right. don’t speed, but im sure he’s checking for seatbelt tickets. got pulled over by him for a streak in my windsheild. they aren’t very bright.
