Northville, Michigan Speed Traps

Even though This is a main road, it is treated with a residential speed limit. Guests to the city don’t have a chance.

A cop sits in the ball field parking lot on west side of Beck Rd. facing north, clocking southbound Beck Rd. traffic in the morning hours.

Cop usually sits in the parking lot of the Mobil gas station and if you’re travelling west on 8 mile you can’t see him because the party store blocks your view.

There are two stop lights, one for Taft & one for a side street. The cops sit right there, a little east of the party store several mornings a week. The lights are timed to go off at the same time so they can bust people from running a red light.

Steep hill and curve south bound – speed is 40 mph. – if you coast down you will hit about 47 mph. and they are there waiting. At the top of the hill there are at least 80+ autos parked there, including a school bus, with “No Parking” signs posted. But they are under the 6 Mile Bridge waiting for you – not giving out parking tickets.
