Patrol car sits at end of curve by Doheny Dr.Vehicles coming out of Downtown Northville are targeted before 25 mph speed limit is increased to 35 mph
Northville Road near 5 mile Road
On Northville Rd, North of 5 mile road, near the Huron River Drive Intersection. During the day, enforcement is low, but as it nears midnight, the silver Northville TWP cars sit on the side of the road with the lights off, shooting laser at oncoming cars.
My radar detector went off with a LASER alert one time. I noticed that a patrol car was sitting on the side of the road, no lights on, shooting laser at cars.
There are almost no traffic around midnight, and they know it, and trap people who just open the gas too much.
Meadowbrook Road near Beginning at 8 Mile Road
Meadowbrook hasn’t been mentioned yet here?! Anywhere between 8 Mile and 10 Mile is a hot zone during the mornings, rush hour, and late at night. You can always tell when a "tourist" is in the area (someone who doesn’t live around us) because they are quick to tailgate and slow to notice (the cops).
Main Street near Orchard Drive
Patrol car usually sitting in the parking lot of Our Lady of Victory Church or on the side of the road on Main Street. Speed limit signs are posted (25 mph) and Main Street is a residential street. Please watch your speed on this street.
