Pontiac, Michigan Speed Traps

The police park on one or the other street and wait on anyone to fail to stop at stop sign or speeding on Sanford to ticket drivers, usually younger males.

Officers sit in the Rite Parking Lot and wait on drivers. In the daytime usually when school lets out for Baker College or driver’s coming off M59, looking for seat belts or any infraction. Taillights, license plates with covers, or speeding.

Officers sit in parking lot of gas station or cellphone shop across the street waiting. Late at night any side street in the area.

Police sit at bottom of hill in pull off, nail you for 40 in a 25 because you pick up speed going down hill.

This cut through has a lot of traffic and there are always Police cars sitting there. I have seen several unsuspecting law abiding citizens "trapped" in this zone. BE CAREFUL!!
