An Officer sits in the apartment driveway across from Elizabeth St. Radar Signs have also been installed.
Brewster Road
Police sit at the entrance of a sudivision on Powderhorn where they can catch speeder coming from the S. up the hill from the N down a small rise.
Snell Road near Between Rochester and Orion
P.O.’S Sit on the south side of snell road just west of Bear creek Estates or in the subdivision itself..they like to hide just before you hit the dirt if you are going west on snell
Wyngate Drive near Parkdale Street
Officer sits in Clubhouse parking lot about 3 days per week at stop sign location. If you roll thru stop or approach above limit- you will get a ticket.
Walnut Street near Fourth Street
The officer sits in his car on the east side of Walnut just south of Fourth Street in downtown Rochester. He has told me that he sits there and looks for people not wearing seatbelts. Sometimes he sites there for *hours*. He also told me that what he really is doing is trying to keep up with the ticket quota the city requires. He said that he will try to write you a ticket for Unsigned Registration, No Proof of Registration, or having a headlight out. All Rochester cops try to write free tickets.
