Saint Louis, Michigan Speed Traps

As you’re coming into St. Louis from the North on State Rd it quickly goes from 55 to 45 to 35 to 25. The 25 zone begins just before the city limits. There is a wall of trees on the East side of the road right before the school. You can see nothing before these trees driving in and the cops will sit right there and wait. So make sure you are at 25 before you hit the trees!

While leaving St. Louis Michigan be careful of the village police who love to sit between the 35 and 55 mph markers. I put on my cruise control a little early and was cited for 60 over in a 35. No breaks given. Officer was sarcastic.

This is an area where the police let drivers run all over…want to test out your loud radio and speed at 60 in the 25 m.p.h zone go for it. The police are in the area like once a week, and make a stop there once a month if that.
