Local agencies are working together to reduce speeding in town.
Anything more than posted speed in residential areas will get you stopped.
You better have license and insurance with you or it’s big $$$$$.

City police sit next to the city DPW garage pointing toward E Spruce st. with radar to catch westbounders comming over hill in 25mph zone

Be on the look-out for a radar unit on top of the hill near the Citgo station on West Easterday Avenue, just east of I-75 overpass. The city units like to sit on a service drive to the LSSU’s Norris Center and they got you before you see them. It’s a 25 MPH zone and very easy to do 40 right there.

City cars have been known to sit in a parking lot just past the Dairy Queen waiting for excessive speeds and red light runners on the south bound lanes.

The police car is backed in a well used area behind trees. You will see the spot if you look for it.
