City police sit next to the city DPW garage pointing toward E Spruce st. with radar to catch westbounders comming over hill in 25mph zone
West Easterday Avenue near Meridian Street
Be on the look-out for a radar unit on top of the hill near the Citgo station on West Easterday Avenue, just east of I-75 overpass. The city units like to sit on a service drive to the LSSU’s Norris Center and they got you before you see them. It’s a 25 MPH zone and very easy to do 40 right there.
Ashmun Street near West 12th Avenue
City cars have been known to sit in a parking lot just past the Dairy Queen waiting for excessive speeds and red light runners on the south bound lanes.
Interstate 75 near 3 Mile Road
The police car is backed in a well used area behind trees. You will see the spot if you look for it.
