Sterling, Michigan Speed Traps

Just north of the 195 mile post. They sit in the median turn around on both northbound and southbound sides. You cannot see them on the northbound side until you are right on top of them.

State police sit behind large pine tree covered berm in the center median just out of view until it is too late. Typically use K-Band Radar. They commonly are in fully marked Suburbans. Anything over 75 mph is fair game for a hefty ticket! Also they are found sitting in unimproved center median cut throughs (seen alot shooting radar at southbound traffic directly across from the rest area, which is about 1 mile south of the M-33 exit)
