Sterling Heights, Michigan Speed Traps

Be very, very careful in this location. There is an officer sitting in this location at night when I come home from work and each time I drive by he has someone stopped. He has pulled me over twice and wrote me the full amount each time.

This area between Mound Road and before Schoenher is heavily patrolled by Sterling Heights on the east bound side and Utica PD on the west. Sterling Heights PD has black car sitting on a side street facing M-59 and Utica PD has black car which sits in a strip mall parking lot. I see alot of cars pulled over in this area.

The 75 overpass on Clinton River Road. The entire road is constantly trapped in other locations there too. I saw 5 speed traps in a matter of 3 miles. Speed limit is 35 which is terrible considering the wide open road.

Foxhill is a major high volume road that connects Mound Rd to Ryan Rd between 16 and 17 Mile Rd. Be very careful, there are several police officers hiding between cars and driving. You will get ticketed if you are going over the 25MPH posted limit.

Traveling East or West on 18 1/2 mile between Mound and Van Dyke. The police sit tucked in a driveway right by the railroad tracks. They are commonly there all day.Speed limit is 45. But traffic merging off of Mound rd is 50 mph.Slow down smile for the camera and wave. LOL
